Imperative Information That Every Employee Handbook Should Contain; Discrimination and Harassment (Seattle)
Lane Powell Attorney Kelly Turner will present at a Human Resource Law Seminar in downtown Seattle on Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5. During the Tuesday presentation Turner will present on “Imperative Information That Every Employee Handbook Should Contain” as it relates to the following topics: necessary disclaimers and employee classifications; laws and policies to include; parameters to address; and drafting responsible social media policies. During the Wednesday presentation she will present on “Discrimination and Harassment” as it pertains to key laws to know, properly managing complaints, keeping records of incidences, and discrimination and harassment prevention. The seminar will take place from March 4-5 at the Washington Convention Center in downtown Seattle.
