Baram-Blackwell Joins Lane Powell’s Litigation Practice Group
Inessa Baram-Blackwell recently joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where she will focus her practice on securities and corporate governance litigation, labor litigation and other complex litigation matters.
Baram-Blackwell regularly defends public companies and their directors and officers in securities class actions, litigation concerning mergers and acquisitions, shareholder derivative actions, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigations and enforcement proceedings. She also represents clients during internal corporate investigations. In addition to her securities litigation practice, she maintains an active and varied pro bono practice.
Before joining Lane Powell, Baram-Blackwell worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she defended numerous securities and corporate governance litigation matters. Previously, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel E. Winfree and the Honorable Alexander O. Bryner of the Alaska Supreme Court. Prior to her legal studies, she taught English composition and math in the Middle East.
Baram-Blackwell received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, her M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and her B.A. in economics/mathematics from Reed College.
