Lane Powell and Attorneys Bodine, Minsk and Legaard Named as ‘Top’ in the 2013 IAM Patent 1000
The 2013 IAM Patent 1000 recently recognized Lane Powell as one of the top patent law firms in Oregon and Washington, as well as naming Lane Powell Shareholders Brian G. Bodine (for Patent Litigation) and Alan D. Minsk (for Patent Prosecution) as top individuals in the practice in Washington, and Shareholder Brenna K. Legaard as a top individual in the practice in Oregon.
The publication states that Lane Powell’s patent “practitioners have deep experience earned at some of the country’s top firms,” and that the Firm “wins particular plaudits for its litigation, and ‘is strong and flexible enough to handle a range of tricky matters.'” In addition, Lane Powell’s “commitment to its clients’ business needs and cost-effective solutions also prove particularly attractive to patrons.”
IAM Patent 1000 called Bodine “a pillar of the Washington IP community,” and said Minsk has “a unique talent for identifying and protecting innovations which resonates strongly with start-ups and companies without well-developed patent programmes.” The directory described Legaard as “brilliant to work with on the most complex matters — she has a great grasp of the interface between science and IP.”
