Reis Joins Lane Powell’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group
Jeffrey W. Reis has joined Lane Powell as Counsel to the Firm in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group.
Reis focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright litigation. His patent infringement engagements have covered a wide array of the software, electrical, mechanical and chemical arts — for example: semiconductors, transistors, SDRAM devices, lasers, computer software, computer network security systems, computer management systems, computer peripherals, communication systems and devices, acoustic devices, broad loom weaving machines, electro-mechanical load cells, building materials and hand tools. Reis also counsels clients in all areas of intellectual property law. His technical corporate experience includes serving as an engineer for Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratories, du Pont and UNC Nuclear Industries.
Reis received his J.D. from University of Washington School of Law and his B.S. in chemical engineering from Washington State University.
