MacLeod Joins Lane Powell’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group
Sarah MacLeod has joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, trust administration, and trust and estate dispute resolution for clients ranging from young families to high net worth individuals.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, MacLeod was a trusts and estates attorney at Miller Nash, where she assisted clients in charitable planned giving; estate, gift and fiduciary taxation; and allocation of generation skipping transfer tax exemptions. Before attending law school, MacLeod worked in public affairs in Chicago, Ill. She also served as a legal intern at the Office of Public Research at the Washington State House of Representatives, and as a law clerk for Velikanje Moore & Shore in Yakima, Wash.
MacLeod serves on the Editorial Board of the Washington State Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Newsletter, and is an active member of Washington Women in Tax.
MacLeod received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
