Lane Powell Ranks 15th in Large Company Category for ’100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon’
Oregon Business magazine (“OBM”) revealed the 2012 rankings of the “100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon” on March 1 at the Oregon Convention Center; Lane Powell ranked 15th in the Large Company category and ranked second overall for the “Employer Benefits Survey.”
OBM’s March “Best Workplaces” issue was unveiled at the event, in which Lane Powell President Lewis Horowitz was interviewed regarding what keeps Lane Powell one of the best companies to work for in Oregon. Horowitz said “… if you take the pay and benefits off the table, you’re left with the real attraction of working at Lane Powell … It’s the person sitting on either side of you … We’ve got a spectacular group of people who want to work together for the benefit of our clients.”
The Best Company rankings are based on confidential employee surveys measuring employee satisfaction in five categories, including benefits and compensation, work environment, decision-making and trust, performance management, and career development and learning. The Employer Benefits Survey consisted of 41 questions covering a comprehensive set of benefits, including health and wellness, time off, family-friendly policies, work scheduling, incentives, retirement plans and culture.
The Portland office is in great company — our Washington offices were finalists in the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “Best Workplaces” survey in August 2011.
