Lane Powell was ranked 57th out of the more than 650 law firms serving large and Fortune 1000 companies in the “BTI Client Service A-Team 2012” survey published by the BTI Consulting Group, which is the leading provider of strategic research to law firms and general counsel.
The BTI Client Service A-Team is selected based on in-house counsel’s ranking of 17 activities driving superior client relationships. These activities include client focus, commitment to help, understanding the client’s business, providing value for the dollar, keeping clients informed, legal skills, quality products, dealing with unexpected changes, handling problems, meeting scope and budget, breadth of services, helping advise on business issues, regional reputation, unprompted communication, bringing together national resources, anticipating the client’s needs, and an innovative approach to legal services.
The BTI Consulting Group compiles the client research, which is based solely on objective, unbiased client feedback from more than 240 in-depth interviews with corporate counsel.
