Lane Powell and employees Len Roden and Stephanie Hanson were mentioned in the King County Bar Association Bar Bulletin’s August 2011 issue in the article “NW Minority Job Fair Marks 25th Anniversary.” In the article, Lane Powell was mentioned for being one of the co-founders of the Northwest Minority Job Fair (“Job Fair”), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Lane Powell served as the host of the Job Fair for the first five years, and this year is again hosting the Job Fair on August 27. Roden and Hanson were also thanked for their continued contribution and involvement with the Job Fair since its first event in 1987. Roden and Hanson are both members of the Board of Directors for the Job Fair.
Lane Powell served as the host firm the first five years and has provided its support and participation every year since the Job Fair’s inception. … This year’s event, which will commemorate 25 years of success, will be held where it all began, at Lane Powell, on Saturday, August 27.
Special kudos are due to Len Roden and Stephanie Hanson of the Lane Powell firm. Since the very first Job Fair in 1987, they have served as ‘behind the scenes’ coordinators. Their tireless enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitude have greatly contributed to the continued success of the Job Fair. Without their assistance and dedication, many wonderful employment opportunities for participants would have been lost.
