Lane Powell Named as Finalist in Puget Sound Business Journal’s ‘Washington’s Best Workplaces’ 2011
Lane Powell was named a finalist in the large company category of Puget Sound Business Journal’s (“PSBJ”) “Washington’s Best Workplaces” competition for the fifth consecutive year. The “Best Workplaces” survey identifies and recognizes best practices in the hiring and retention of great people. After an extensive and rigorous process, which included the completion of surveys by nominee-company employees across the state, workplaces in four different categories were identified as Washington’s best, based on their various employee benefit offerings, leadership culture and work/life balance philosophies. Of the over 230 submissions by companies, only 85 were announced as finalists in the four categories: small-, medium-, large-, and extra-large-sized companies, based on number of employees. Lane Powell is a finalist in the large company category, which includes companies with between 151 and 500 employees. The PSBJ will honor these finalists and announce the winners at a celebration at Safeco Field on August 11. The PSBJ will also feature these companies and their secrets to creating a “best workplaces” culture in the August 12 edition of the PSBJ.
