Tober Appointed Vice-Chair of IPBA Tax Law Committee

Gary Tober, Chair of Lane Powell Tax Practice Group, has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Inter Pacific Bar Association’s (“IPBA”) Tax Law Committee, for the April 2009 – April 2011 term. The Tax Law Committee seeks to inform members on the significant role of taxation in the structuring of all commercial activities and the increasing complexity of international trade and commerce. The committee also attempts to further an understanding of the taxation systems in the various countries in which members of the IPBA practice.
