Lane Powell’s Support of the Arts is Honored by NW/BCA
Lane Powell was once again among the top business donors to Portland’s arts and cultural organizations in 2008. At a packed awards breakfast presented by Northwest Business for Culture & the Arts (“NW/BCA”) on November 13, 2008, Lane Powell was recognized for ranking seventh among medium companies (those with 100 to 499 Portland-area employees), with cash donations totaling $35,450. Lane Powell made donations to PICA, Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls, Oregon Children’s Theatre, NW Professional Dance Project, NW/BCA, Pacific Northwest College of Art and Blue Sky Gallery.
In addition, Lane Powell attorneys completed over $62,000 worth of pro bono legal work for Portland arts and cultural organizations, and the following Lane Powell attorneys participated on arts boards:
- Chip Hudson (NW/BCA and Oregon Center for Photographic Arts)
- Neil Kimmelfield (Old Library Studio)
- Jill Long (Oregon Children’s Theatre)
- Jack Walsh (PICA)
